Will Langston’s lullaby, “Rare Nights”, tucks you into all the rarer-than-ever starry skies spent next to loved ones, caring for shared space and knowing this is right where you want to be. Wanting to feel connected in a time of isolation, Langston set out in search of collaboration and found some alongside Cadien Lake James of Twin Peaks for production and Yen Yen Chou for the artwork. Released March 5th, the single recreates a sense of comfort only found in the special type of safety in togetherness.

The appreciation for these nights and sentiments can be found in the sweet, slow strums of his guitar, windswept swooning of the pedal steel, and the whimsy of synth-piano ensuring you know just how special these kinds of moments are. Langston’s smooth, gentle voice croons “You mean more to me / than you’ll ever dream / and till you believe / I could never leave.” There will be more nights like these. “Rare Nights” is for all the times when you were a kid and pretended to be asleep after a long car ride in an effort to have your parents carefully carry you to bed. You will sleep well knowing a song like this exists.
