Smooth, sedative vocals flow from one verse to the next like ever-changing cursive. Finger-picked jazz guitar and a drum machine accompany the slow movement of progress embedded in its solar system of sound. The lyrics emanate life’s metamorphosis: “Like the moon goes through its phases.” Accents of a pencil on paper denote the migration of the self from past to present.
