Four long years since the stellar Mild West (which still sounds just as fresh) was released, Fullbloods are finally back with a preview of things to come. Their new LP, Soft and Virtual Touch, is on the horizon and to hold us over the single “Stand Up For Me Now” gives us six beautiful and delicate minutes of pop bliss. Ross Brown & Co. are no strangers to masterfully crafted and produced tunes; every moment carefully placed to add to the lush music. A tasty bass guitar riff; bouncing synth; sensuous strings! And Brown’s cool falsetto sounds even sweeter. Most of all, “Stand Up For Me Now” just relaaaaaaxes. Currently? It's much needed.
