“The breath of fresh air that we all need. Get yourself a front porch swing and a never-ending glass of iced tea; let these folksy midwest sounds take up some space. A pleasant reflection on time, “Bright or Blue” gives us something we can all agree to and reminds us city folk that there are dirt roads out there. This song actually lives at the end of that long dirt road we forgot about. Took a lot of dust to get there, trials of ‘chasing’, ‘wasting’, or ‘hating’ time, but hey, we made it. Sung to us with a Kevin Morby-esque friendliness, we’re reminded - time is a confusing rascal, and we don’t have to have it all figured out. Sometimes it’s enough to just exist. The sentiment is one we all have within us, maybe one we return to - perpetually, or at least eventually. Let him tell ya. It’s a good song to exist to, and one sprinkled with literally timeless advice. :) So give up the grip and watch this sunset of a song spread out. Enjoy ~”
