“Set in their cute and quirky backyard, Fritz Hutchison’s music video for “Fortunate Flaws” is just as fun and inviting as his personality. Sitting on a retro-printed sofa with his various new bandmates (who are actually sock puppets) popping up from behind throughout, we are serenaded by Fritz and his guitar. This song’s happy-go-lucky lyrics are well supported with the comedic relief of this DIY creation. His reminder that “fear is one thing [that] gives you nothing” and “it won’t take long before it eats up all your lovin’ settles in nicely as he ends the song by opening the surreal door he entered through. What spoke to me most were the warm credits at the end; we get to meet more of the Hutchison Clan making this video seem like it was just as fun to shoot as it is to watch. “
