“Momma’s Boy’s Peter Beatty has debuted his project R.I.Peter and single, “Spring (Is Gonna Come),” from his forthcoming EP. The gentle strum that carries throughout plays a sweet contrast to the violent weather it seems this season has bestowed upon us. A slow breeze instead of a thunderous boom and a soft melancholy to help shade from a harsh heat. It’s a beautiful anthem for changing days; Beatty’s harmonies cooing along with a clean guitar and whistling to boot. His lyrics promise a rebirth after the destruction; a long journey we all can overcome as long as the world keeps spinning. A promise of better days? Possibly. But there’s just a hint of something sinister… and whether it’s true or not, we’ll all find out soon enough.”
