MANOR FEST IS KANSAS CITY’S DIY MUSIC FEST

MANOR FEST BACKGROUND…..

Manor Fest started back in 2015 as a basement festival featuring 10 bands in one night at a house called The Shawnee Manor in Shawnee, KS. The second year was the last hurrah at the broken down party house & featured 20 bands in 2 nights ft. acts such as Shy Boys & Dreamgirl. After moving on from the house Manor Records was born in 2017 and without having a place to host the fest, it was time to finally bring it to Kansas City. We put on Manor Fest 3, our most “official” festival yet, in the summer of 2019. This festival featured 33 bands in 3 nights in different sections of the city. The lineup ranged from local favorites like Mild Cats & Fullbloods to regional up & comers Paul Cherry & Shady Bug. The support of the 3rd edition of the festival made us realize we need to keep rolling with this event and allow it to grow to help grow our very own music scene here in KC.
